Needs of the soul

The Four Charismatic Movement:

1.The Pentecostal Movement
- People starting to realize the gift of tongues

2. The Charismatic Movement
-The charismatic movement is an informal international and transdenominational fellowship of Christians who believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit described by St. Paul in I Cor. 12:4 - 11 and Gal. 5:22 - 23 are manifested in these times.

3. The Vineyard Movement
- The Vineyard movement is a hyper-charismatic organization that is also known by the names of "third wave," "Signs and Wonders Movement," and "power theology."

4. ?
- People thought that the 4th wave is a wave whereby they focus on the fivefold ministry.

The Pentecostal Movement:
Focus alot on the spirit, Speaking in tongues/Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

The Charismatic Vineyard Movement:
Focus alot on healing of the body, "Signs and Wonders Movement," and "power theology."

Who cares for the soul?

describes the personality of the individual human and is translated: heart, life, mind (of the flesh), soul. AESTHETIC = Arts express what you sense in your spirit and soul.

Ask you a question, if you are to communicate ancient english with me, can I understand?

If I express what I sense in the spirit in an ancient or outdated way (Example: Pictures, Music, Dramas) how can we be ministered by the various ministries in church? Let's take Drama ministry for example, if you are someone that don't appreciate shakespear and we are to act the drama like a shakespear, do you think you can pay attendtion to the drama? I think you will find it hard to relate, you can force yourself to watch it but in the end you are not going to be happy.

So what if you speak so much in tongues and move in the annoiting but your needs for soul are not met? Your soul is your personality. After you received christ, you are a new creation and the bad habits starting to leave you bit by bit but that dosen't mean your personality will leave you too. You are not a robot, God make us unique and that means you have your own preference.

Sad to say people restrict their artistic part of them in church, they thought every christian should have the same interest but the truth is God wants you to be yourself, if not He must as well make us all the same!

Let us be someone that people in this modern world can relate to, let us make a difference in the society of our nation. Amen.

The path to maturity

Romans 8:14 because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

Notice the word your eyes on the people around you anymore, be sensitive to the Holy Spirit for it is only by the spirit we can grow into mature sonship. Notice the sons in the verse in greek is actually mature sonship. To the people who have a mentor or if you have been a christian for quite sometime, remember don't put your eyes on men. If you have been asking and asking and asking for decisions from the leaders which is good, remember! We should only ask leaders for advice and not asking them to make the decisions for us. It is good for baby christian but not christians that have been a child of God for sometime. You see, we should be dependant to the Spirit of God!

Give you an example, when we are young our parents restrict us from doing whatever we want because we are still young and we can't discern what is wrong and what is right. When we grew up we make our own decisions, we only ask our parents for advice if we are lost for what to do.

It is easier for us to see things that are visible but remember, we walk by faith and we can't see faith because faith is invisible. We live by faith and not by repent, it is by faith we are saved!

It's the same in the spiritual realm, the Lord knows what is the best for you, what you should do and what you should not do. Therefore it's time to learn to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and let's depend on Him, the greatest mentor and counsellor of our lives. This is my prayer for tonight, I want to know His way, I want to have the spirit of discernment to know what to do and what I should not do and I want to have an adventure with you everyday, so that I can know more about you and to experience you more. Without you, I can do nothing to please you Father. Amen.

Zechariah 4:6 So he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty.

3 important things for the world today

Becoming relevant to the society is important, the world is changing fast and we must flow with the society. We need to know what's the world up to and what is in the mind of our heavenly Father in heaven.

Whether you like it or not, you are in this world. We are not to be one kind that is living in the dungeon but we are the salt and the light of this world. Whether you like it or not, you are to shine to the world today.

Matthew 5:13-15

13"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. (NIV)

14"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. (NIV)

So therefore, take courage and live a life of influence to the world without a vision but guard your heart and ALWAYS be filled with the Holy Spirit wherever you go.

John 17: 15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. (NIV)

Jesus Himself knew that we have a purpose in our life, in this generation! If we don't have a purpose, we should be up on the heaven instantly when we received christ! His prayer was asking our heavenly Father to guard our heart in this dark world that we will not be influenced by things of the word but instead we influence the world just like salt and light, clensing the dirt and shine to the darkness of the world.

The lacking of manhood is one of the main problem in the world today, broken families are usually caused by mens (male) and most of the time in the world today, there are very few guys willing to stand up to serve God in leadership in the church today. Why is that so? Most of the time it is caused by their sins, holding them back to become what God has made them to be.

Ezekiel 22:30 "I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none.

Notice it is not plurer, he was referring to a guy. God is still looking for the males today.

It has been in my heart for quite sometime that I have a great revelation to share and I want to spend sometime to talk about three things in life I received and it is very very important for the children of God today.

1. Men's Ministries (The fall of men and the calling of God for maximised manhood)

2. Holy Spirit (That will keep our hearts clean and keep us right with God)

3. Passions for the world today (After we are in tune with the Spirit of the Living God, new passions for the contemporary world today will burn in your heart. Be prepared to receive your purpose in life and don't be legalistic over what God wants or else you might be rejecting His planning for your purpose.)
